Education (which degree to opt for)

1.    An inch wide and a mile deep;

2.    A mile wide and an inch thick

People generally categorize education as such. Few vote for the first category few for the second one. Few generally think first one as technical education and the second stream to be as non-technical education.
Much more generally the first way of study is called and specialization the second one as generalization
Few argue specialization will be meaningful only after generalization [you do your generalization degree (M.B.B.S) and go for specialization (M.D)]
Few more argue this way, “do your specialization first and to be acceptable at all the time in market, you generalize yourself [you will have confidence while generalizing and it doesn’t affect your mindset]”

A GREAT EXMPLE TO SHOW HOW HOPELESS THINGS HAVE GONE       G

A real Education starts with the hope of specialization and ends up being generalized.
It’s more like the peddling pattern of a bicycle ‘to come up you go down, you come up to go down’. You generalize yourself to get specialized and vice versa. What I actually mean is that they both go hand in hand; you can’t say “I will generalize for 5 years and then go for 2 year specialization according to the market”
If you do say as such, then it’s obvious that you are not getting the right education.

You may do ME, CIV, E&C, EEE, CS, IS. . . . .  . So on, if you are having right education then you will be generalized and also specialized in some field according to your curricula.  Things are okay with CIV, E&C, EEE, CS, IS. . . . Problem is with ME.

They say that, an M engineer is “jack of all trades and master of none”

Since you can’t specialize without generalization I say that you can’t even generalize without specialization in mind, may seem ridiculous but it’s the fact. And also nature of real education

EXAMPLE: Reason behind the rapid growth of technology.

And it’s the bonus with ME, you can specialize yourself according to the market.
People do consider the above bonus of ME as loophole. They say that “It’s better to have a recognized specialization degree in spite of having an unrecognized and undetermined generalized specialization degree”. (Read twice)

And thus they dare themselves for market risks.   > “<hey its safety”
..... I will explain.

2. Since the area of specialization you are supposed to enter is pre-determined, the education process gets affected and it will be no more natural and effective. This thing happens only SOMETIMES . . .  and you might end up being a table without enough legs.

1. Realise that recognition is not in your university marks card.

Finally It’s no-difference what I meant to say.
